Stephanie started to work at a hospital after finishing high school and subsequently decided to get into nursing.

During that time, she realized that she would love to learn more about medicine itself and that she wanted to assume more responsibility for her patients.

Stephanie studied at the University of Bonn, Germany, and after achieving her approbation as a physician, she moved to Ibiza, Spain, where she worked with her husband at a family medical centre.

She became a mother herself and developed great interest in preventive medicine for babies and toddlers, including sleep and feeding issues.

As a mother, she understands even the smallest problem that other doctors are likely to quickly brush off.

In 2014 Stephanie moved to New Zealand with her family and quickly came to appreciate the uncomplicated lifestyle and the friendliness of the Kiwis.

In her spare time, she loves to travel and to be out and about in nature. She enjoys photography, horseback riding and water sports.
